Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of seedanceai.dev and the Seedance AI service. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Seedance AI is an independent service that provides access to supported third-party AI video models. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance, Doubao, Dreamina, or other model owners. Model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify hello@seedanceai.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

The service

Available models, input types, controls, duration, resolution, audio, and other capabilities vary by model and provider. The generator shows the product settings currently supported for the selected model. We may add, remove, or change providers, models, controls, or limits as upstream services and product requirements change.

Generation is asynchronous and depends on third-party providers. A queued or slow task is not necessarily a failed task. Availability, processing time, and output quality are not guaranteed.

Your inputs and responsibilities

You retain any rights you have in the prompts and media you submit. You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit and process those materials.

You must not use the service to:

• create or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, defamatory, deceptive, or rights-infringing content;
• create non-consensual intimate imagery or deceptive impersonation intended to harm others;
• violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• interfere with the service, bypass limits, probe security, reverse engineer protected systems, or automate abusive traffic;
• resell service access without written authorization; or
• violate applicable law or a provider's acceptable-use rules.

We may block requests, remove access, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect people or the service, or comply with law.

Generated output and commercial use

Output is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to existing material, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing it before publication or distribution.

We do not claim ownership of your generated output to the extent such ownership can exist. However, commercial-use rights, watermark or attribution requirements, and other restrictions depend on your rights in the inputs, applicable law, your plan, and the current model and provider terms. Access to a model does not grant rights to third-party brands, characters, music, voices, or likenesses. We do not guarantee that any output is protectable, exclusive, non-infringing, or cleared for commercial use.

Credits, pricing, and payments

• Generation uses product credits based on the selected model and settings. The generator displays the charge before submission.
• Prices, credit packages, model rates, taxes, and included allowances may change prospectively. The checkout page controls the amount charged for a purchase.
• Purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.
• When our system confirms that a provider task failed, the related generation-credit charge is designed to be reversed. Delays, queued tasks, user cancellation, or dissatisfaction with a completed output do not automatically qualify as provider failure.
• Credit expiration and renewal follow the conditions displayed for the purchased plan or package.

Payment processing is performed by the selected third-party payment provider and is also subject to that provider's terms.

Privacy

Generation may require prompts, input media, settings, and media URLs to be sent to configured AI, storage, and hosting providers. Our Privacy Policy explains this processing in more detail. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive material unless you have confirmed that the workflow is appropriate for it.

Service changes and termination

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, risk to users or the service, non-payment, abuse, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy. We do not guarantee a particular model, provider, processing time, output, ranking, revenue, or business result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seedance AI and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Seedance AI during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Seedance AI against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your inputs, generated content, misuse of the service, or violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
