Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seedance AI ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use seedanceai.dev. Seedance AI is an independent service that connects to third-party AI model providers; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by ByteDance, Doubao, or Dreamina.

Information we handle

We may handle the following categories of information:

• Account data: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
• Generation inputs: prompts, uploaded images or other supported reference files, selected model settings, and related instructions.
• Generation records: task identifiers, model and provider selection, status, credit charges or refunds, output URLs, and timestamps.
• Billing records: plan, order, subscription, transaction, currency, and payment-status information. Full payment-card details are processed by the selected payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Seedance AI.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, cookie or session identifiers, and interactions with the service.
• Support communications: messages and attachments you send when requesting help.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide accounts, authentication, generation, storage, download, credit, and billing functions;
• send service or account communications;
• prevent abuse, investigate failures, secure the service, and enforce our terms;
• measure reliability and improve product behavior; and
• comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

AI providers, storage, and other service providers

Generation requires third-party infrastructure. Depending on the model and configuration you select:

• prompts, model settings, and input media or media URLs are sent to the configured AI provider for processing;
• uploaded files are stored with the configured object-storage provider so the generation provider can access them;
• generated output may remain hosted by the AI provider or may be copied to configured storage; and
• account, hosting, database, email, analytics, and payment providers may process the minimum information needed to perform their services.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Provider availability and routing may change, so do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive material unless you have independently confirmed that the selected workflow meets your requirements.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies or similar technologies when needed for sign-in, security, preferences, and core service operation. Analytics tools may be enabled to understand aggregate site and product usage. Browser settings can limit non-essential cookies, but blocking required cookies may prevent authentication or other features from working.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, transaction, generation, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Input and output files may be retained by our storage or AI providers according to the applicable provider settings and policies. Backup or legally required copies may remain for a limited period after a deletion request.

You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@seedanceai.dev. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records cannot be deleted immediately when retention is required by law or necessary to protect the service.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including access restrictions and secret management. No internet transmission, storage system, or third-party service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your content and generated output

We do not claim ownership of the original content you upload. Rights in generated output, permission for commercial use, and any watermark or attribution requirements depend on your rights in the inputs, applicable law, your plan, and the current model and provider terms. Review those terms before publishing or using output commercially.

Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Data-protection rules in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
