Seedance 2.0 free credits: who is eligible?
The allowance is for Mini, not a free Standard subscription. Eligible new accounts receive 5 credits once after email verification. The advertised validity is 30 days; your account’s actual grant and expiry record are authoritative.
Disposable email addresses are excluded. A session from another account on the same network within the last 24 hours can make an account ineligible. Signing in again or changing your prompt does not refill spent or expired credits.

What if I have no credits left?
First check email verification, grant eligibility and the expiry or spending records. You can keep editing prompts and reading guides without submitting a task. If you decide to continue generating, compare the quote with a credit pack.

Resolution, watermark and publishing checks
- Mini currently offers 480p and 720p. The 5-credit allowance fits 480p / 5s only; higher resolution or longer duration needs more credits.
- Browser reference mode accepts the images allowed by its controls; it does not expose every video or audio reference feature in a provider API.
- No universal watermark-free result is promised. Check the downloaded file before publishing.
- Upload only material you have permission to use. Commercial use also depends on source rights, output content and applicable terms.

Eligible accounts can receive a one-time Mini allowance: 5 credits for one 480p / 5s task. Standard, Fast and 2.5 do not fit that trial configuration.
Do I need to sign in or add a card?+
You can edit first. Submission requires sign-in and enough credits. Creating an account does not require a card; the allowance requires a verified email and eligibility.
Is Mini the same as Seedance 2.0 Standard?+
They use separate provider model routes and are labelled and charged separately. A five-second 480p task costs 5 credits with Mini or 20 credits with Standard.
Is there a referral code or daily credit refill?+
This page offers no redeemable referral code, invite-friends reward or daily refill. The trial is granted once and does not automatically reset after use or expiry.
Why did I not receive 5 credits?+
Check email verification, disposable-address restrictions and other accounts with sessions on the same network in the last 24 hours. Your balance and grant record are authoritative; not every signup qualifies.
Are credits returned if generation fails?+
Reserved credits are returned after the provider confirms task failure. A queued, processing or uncertain timed-out task is not a confirmed failure.
